Felt Tapes Felt Tapes are coated on one side with an aggresive acrylic emulsion adhesive and protected by a moisture stable liner which helps to increase their shelf life. Available in a thickness range which starts at 0.3mm and rises to 5mm in standard log stock. We can slit coils of tape to as narrow as 5mm. Felt Tapes can be sold in pads, strips, coils, sheets and can be converted into a wide range of die cut and kiss-cut parts. Back to top

Foam Tapes We manufacture a wide variety of foamed tapes to suit many varied applications. They can be broken down into the following general headings: Foam/Cellular Rubber Foam/Cellular Polyethylene Foam/Cellular Polyurethane Foam/Cellular PVC Foam/Cellular Silicon Many of these foamed materials can be coated with a variety of adhesive systems allowing them to exhibit different application characteristics. We can offer both single and double-sided adhesive coatings with both permanent and removable characteristics. Foam tapes start from as thin as 0.8mm and rise to 15mm thick in rolls and coils. The standard range of foam tapes is between 0.8mm and 6mm thick. Foam Rubber Tapes are manufactured from a range of pure and blended materials to suit specific applications where weather, heat or solvent and oil resistance may be required. Predominantly closed cell in structure they offer excellent sealing characteristics and also cushioning and vibration dampening. In addition to the standard range of Foam Rubber Tapes we also convert a range of tapes manufactured for use within the automotive fascia-manufacturing sector. Back to foam tapes Foam Polyethylene Tapes are manufactured from mainly closed cell cross-linked foam These tapes exhibit high strength and excellent weather and heat stability. Polyethylene tapes and tape components are used for economical seals, cushioning and vibration control pads between plastic to plastic components in many automotive applications. Other uses include pads and shapes for point of sale display mounts, and general self adhesive cushion pads for mounting and securing. Polyethylene tapes are also recommended for use in the glass sector for Georgian Bar fixing and Security Glazing applications. Back to foam tapes Foam Polyurethane Tapes are available in a range of densities and thicknesses and can be supplied in both polyester and polyurethane types to suit both internal and external applications. Typical uses for this economical soft material are as seals between metal and plastic parts to reduce noise or to cushion vibration. Back to foam tapes Foam PVC Tapes are mainly closed cell in structure. They can offer excellent weather and ozone resistance as well as providing excellent seals against air, dust, ozone and water. They can be supplied in a wide range of densities from extremely soft to very firm. PVC Tapes are incorporated into components requiring long term weather sealing and specific uses can be found within the Glazing industry for security glazing seals. We also provide a range of Nitrile/PVC tapes, which offer all the properties of PVC with the added enhancement of being oil resistant. Back to foam tapes Foam Silicon Tapes offer the best chemical and heat resistance of all our foam tape range. These tapes are closed cell in structure and backed with an aggressive acrylic adhesive which provides excellent long term bonds to many difficult/ low energy surfaces. Foil Tapes We offer 38-micron self-adhesive aluminium foils which can be supplied on coils as narrow as 6mm and up to 1000mm wide. These foils can be coated with an aggressive high tack rubber based adhesive system or an acrylic emulsion, both of which are protected by a strong paper liner. Designed for use in applications requiring a vapour seal on fibreglass duct board and sheet metal ducting, this malleable foil conforms extremely well irregular surfaces and can be formed around corners without tearing. Single sided foil tapes can be found in the following applications: Sealing Double Glazed Units Heat reflection and screening on electronic components Sealing cold store insulation and packing in refrigerated containers. Miscellaneous Tapes - - Non Woven Tapes - Flock and Suede & Cork - Floor protection Non-Woven Tapes We offer a range of Non-Woven fabrics specifically designed for sealing applications between extremely narrow apertures. Our fabrics are able to seal and cushion gaps between surfaces as narrow as 0.3mm and up to 0.9mm. This narrow aperture sealing requires fabrics manufactured to very tight tolerances and our Chemicalbond range of blended fibres is designed specifically to meet these requirements. Coated on one or both sides with aggressive adhesive systems our fabrics are able to bond to materials exhibiting the lowest surface energy characteristics such as Polyethylene, EVA and Silicon based materials. Once in situ these fabrics exhibit excellent vibration and noise dampening characteristics and are particularly suited to internal fascia mounting products within the Automotive-manufacturing sector. Many of our Non-Woven fabrics are converted into small self adhesive pads, strips and discs. These can be found sandwiched between plastic components within Dashboard Assemblies, Door Panel Components and Seatbelt Assemblies throughout the Automotive Component Industry. Flock and Suede & Crok - Back to Miscellaneous Tapes For applications requiring plush feel fabrics we offer a range of Flocked and Crushed Suede materials. Available in a limited range of colours these materials provide an excellent visual finish to items such as Pottery, Ornaments, Lamps, Drawer Liners and Trophies. Our self-adhesive natural and rubber bonded cork can be supplied in coils and cut pads and shapes for use as mounting pads and cushion pads.
