Our silicone sponges are predominantly closed cell in structure and particularly suitable in applications requiring seals resistant to high temperature and can be found sealing domestic and professional ovens against possible gaseous or temperature seepage.
The silicone sponge is easily deformable and provides very good surface contact providing excellent sealing characteristics. Our foams have been approved as materials for use in contact with potable water at temperatures up to 85 Celsius.
They offer superb resistance to ozone, oxidation, ultraviolet light, corona discharge, cosmic and ionising radiation and weathering in general.
