Self-adhesive felts are designed to allow an easier and more efficient application of the product than the use of wet adhesives. Especially when either permanent or temporary fixing is required.
The majority of products are direct coated with adhesive to the felt. We use a strong acrylic-based adhesive. This forms a much better bond relationship of adhesive to felt than the simple application of an adhesive tape.
This adhesive can be bonded to a wide variety of substrates of both high and low surface energy characteristics. So from bonding to wood and metal through to expanded polyethylene and PVC's the bond strength is exceptionally good.
We offer adhesive backings to all our felt products, and carry stock of all popular grades in thickness' from 1mm through to 6mm in white, black and grey shades.
A small number of our handicraft felts are also offered with adhesive backing.
All our self-adhesive felts have a moisture stable peelable paper liner attached to one side to protect the open adhesive face.
