Our mission is to provide cost efficient sealing and cushioning components from a range of non-metallic plain or adhesive coated materials.

British Felt is comprised of a team of dedicated material converting specialists. We provide component part solutions in a wide variety of raw materials including wool and synthetic felts, non-woven fabrics, cellular and solid rubbers, open and closed cell foams, flocked fabrics and a comprehensive range of adhesive tapes.

Operating our business to an assessed standard of ISO 9001:2008, we are also fully conversant in the requirements of PPAP, IMDS and FMEA. We are "Reach" compliant in our business and our felt materials are acid free, non-toxic and biodegradable.

Our Felts

Our engineering pressed woollen felt is available in soft, medium and firm grades in sheets and rolls and hard polishing grades in sheets and finished wheels. Technical grades are manufactured in natural white or grey and also in black dyed finishes. Our handicraft and Aspire felts are available in a strong colour base.

Foam and Rubber

Cellular expanded foams and rubbers including polyethylene's, neoprenes, Epdm's, PVC's and blended products offer a diversity of application solutions in sealing and cushioning. These products are available as rolls, sheets, tapes and cut parts.

Adhesive Tapes

All our manufacturing partners which include ATP and Steratape have a wealth of international application experience in adhesive tape technology, which we can use to solve almost any bonding and sealing application presented to us. Laminating these tapes to our materials further enhances our available product range. We can also offer tape solutions from Lohmann, 3M and Venture.

Converting

By applying versatile manufacturing techniques such as laminating, slitting, pressing, kiss cutting and sheeting to our materials we can provide component solutions from a large non-metallic material database.
